Question 1: What size tank is best for my place?

THIS DEPENDS MAINLY ON SPACE AVAILABLE, ROOF AREA, ACCESS, AND COMPLIES WITH REQUIREMENTS SET OUT BY THE RELEVENT AUTHORITIES

WE ALSO PROVIDE OBLIGATION FREE QUOTATIONS AND ADVICE ON WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU.

Question 2: Can I get the Sydney Water rebate?

YES, IF YOU QUALIFY YOU MUST BE A CUSTOMER OF SYDNEY WATER AND HAVE A TANK OR TANKS WITH A COMBINED CAPACITY OF 2,000Lt OR GREATER. THE REBATE SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:

2,000Lt-3,999Lt ~ $150.00
4,000Lt-6,999Lt ~ $400.00
7,000Lt AND OVER ~ $500.00

AN ADDITIONAL $500.00 IF CONNECTED TO TOILET OR WASHING MACHINE(SPECIAL CONDITIONS APPLY, PLEASE GO TO http://www.sydneywater.com.au AND FOLLOW THE LINKS TO WATER TANK REBATE

Question 3: What can I do with the water?

YOUR COLLECTED ROOF WATER IS YOURS TO DO WITH AS YOU WISH. HOWEVER RAINWATER IS STILL SCARCE SO WE WOULD ADVISE THAT YOU USE IT WISELY.

MOST PEOPLE USE THEIR RAINWATER FOR GARDEN WATERING, CAR WASHING, USE WITH HIGH PRESSURE CLEANER (FOR DRIVEWAYS, WALLS, WINDOWS ETC), TOP UP THE POOL AND WASHING THE DOG.

YOU CAN ALSO CONNECT TO A TOILET AND OR WASHING MACHINE 
OUR LICENCED PLUMBER CAN ADVISE YOU ON THE RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS.

 

National Rainwater and greywater rebate

Rebates are as follows for a tank connected to for internal reuse of the water for toilet and/or laundry use (plumbed in ) 2000 litres to 4000 litres  $400 and for 4000 litres or larger $500.More information available for this or the greywater rebate go to www.environment.gov.au/water.
